Description
"Language....has created the word "loneliness" to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word "Solitude" to express the glory of being alone." ~ Paul Tillich (1886-1965) A water lily drifting alone in a small lake inspired some thoughts on solitude. Personally, I enjoy a chance for some solitude, becoming my own best friend for a while. :)

Always so beautiful, rarely do I ever walk by these flowers without a few photos. Lovely shot with the reflection!

Beautifully done Angela. I always think of Monet's Garden when I see a capture of this beautiful flower. Blue and Greens my favorite color combination. The reflection is perfect.

This is so beautiful! How peaceful and serene. Love the still reflection. They say "One is the lonliest number" but some of us know better. ;-)
