I captured this outdoor baroque equine statue a few years ago. I love the expressive mood of the horse and the way the light and shadow play over it's rough surface. Upon closer inspection you can see the tiny rivets holding this amazing work together. Some of the shadows are caused by tree branches hanging above this work as it was captured outdoors, but I have digitally added the black background. It appears to have been made with sheets of metal of some type. I could not locate a plaque or title for the work or name of the artist at the location, which made it all the more fascinating to me.
There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works. Animals, birds, children, still life, and flowers are favorite subjects. I especially love capturing the personality of the animals that I paint through the expressions in their eyes.
