When out walking, I captured this field bordered with woods near my home in Pa. in late October and decided to create a more soft and impressionistic mood with digital paints. Standing under the trees as I looked across the golden meadow grasses framed the image for me. One lone turkey vulture soared above the tree tops~

There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works. Animals, birds, children, still life, and flowers are favorite subjects. I especially love capturing the personality of the animals that I paint through the expressions in their eyes.
