Several years ago I captured this lone tree in the snow and it inspired me to think about strength in adversity. Winter is a time for reflection, and though hard on all of us, we come out of it in the spring with the knowledge that we can survive, even when things are tough.
There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works. Animals, birds, children, still life, and flowers are favorite subjects. I especially love capturing the personality of the animals that I paint through the expressions in their eyes.
