Description
"Farmers produce valuable goods, of course; but they also conserve soil, they conserve water, they conserve wildlife, they conserve open space, they conserve scenery." ~ Wendell Berry
Sadly, we are losing too many family farms which did all of the before mentioned things, to industrial farming.
When looking out across a meadow near the historical Sachs Covered Bridge in Gettysburg, Pa. you can see this old barn. It is nearly covered by trees and tall meadow grasses and weeds and looks like it is from another era. I enjoyed trying it in pointillism.
