I captured my cat, Oreo, snuggling up to my foot recently, looking very kittenish even though he is nearly five. He was once a feral kitten which I had to trap humanely and keep confined in my laundry room until I could gain his confidence as he grew up enough to get to his first vet appointment for neutering and shots. It was not an easy accomplishment, but he has become very affectionate and just recently started jumping up on my lap to snuggle. He was several months old when I started working to tame him so will always have a bit of a wild edge, but we have become good friends now and most of the time he trusts me. :) Of course, those of you with pet cats know that they never fully do trust us, always a bit reserved and ready to pass judgement on their caretakers, who they may allow into their affections if we are deemed worthy enough. :)
