A young red tailed hawk sat under my bird feeder one snowy morning hoping for an easy breakfast but of course all of his hoped for prey disappeared. He continued to sit there for quite a while hoping for an inattentive bird to fly in, but to no avail. However, I expect it was a learning experience for him and a photo op and art inspiration for me. :)
There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works. Animals, birds, children, still life, and flowers are favorite subjects. I especially love capturing the personality of the animals that I paint through the expressions in their eyes.
