Description
I captured this macro of a day lily with its face and stamens reaching for the sun on a hot July afternoon in Pa. when the rest of us were looking for a spot in the shade or under a sun hat. I love the hardy day lily which can be found growing in the wild in meadows and along roadways as well as in our gardens.
