I thought I knew how this would end, but knew nothing at all.
We've all been there at one time or another, wondering how we didn't see it coming, then turning away and hoping when we look back at the situation something will have changed. Even on a sunny day things seem foggy,and the atmosphere sits heavily on our shoulders.
I captured this sunflower a couple of years ago and felt it reflected the mood so well, vanquished in the hot sun of an August afternoon.
There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works. Animals, birds, children, still life, and flowers are favorite subjects. I especially love capturing the personality of the animals that I paint through the expressions in their eyes.
