Koi are a symbol in Feng Shui and Chinese culture. They are associated with the Yin Yang symbol and the black and white teardrop of the design represents two koi, the male and female energy. Characteristics associated with Koi include good fortune,success,prosperity,longevity,courage, ambition, and perseverance.
I chose white Koi for my pond, I find them so ethereal as they glide about their world, almost like ghost or spirit fish.
There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works.
