While attempting to focus my camera as I photographed a red winged blackbird, this handsome blue bird came into view, a bit of serendipity for sure! It reminded me that we must stay in the moment, adapt to the circumstances and occasionally when searching for the image we want to capture, we occasionally get something even better. :) Or, as Thoreau stated "You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment."

There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works.
