Just one, blooming at my feet,
To remember you my feline friend
My dear sweet girl, forever.
Each year I am touched when this tulip blooms, planted over the burial spot of my dear Pavi, a little tabby who inspired several watercolors and photos over the years. She rests under a favorite dogwood tree and when it blooms later; she is remembered again. This was photographed outdoors but after some minor digital enhancements the neon leaf and stem appeared, as if drawn, due to the outline by the lighting in the photo, I presume. I found it rather interesting.
