Description

I am growing some multi color carrots in pots this year and was surprised when they bloomed as the flower or umbel looks very similar to Queen Anne's Lace and quite delicate and pretty. Just had to capture one, adding some digital painting effects.

I don't think I have ever seen a carrot flower before, but it makes sense that they would make lovely delicate umbels, since they are in the same family as Parsley and dill. Beautiful! l/f
