Description
In autumn I love looking down at the forest floor to see what might surprise me there. An old log covered with life, and a dying leaf resting on it spoke to me about the changing effects of time and the seasons.

Angela, I see we share a love of fungi. These turkey tails really are delicate and beautifully undulating decorations. I love the colors, and leaf. In my Oregon neighborhood, I'm discovering what fungi populate what seasons. Thankfully, not all of them thrive in cooler weather. I'm finding stunning creatures as spring becomes summer. It's amazing to me this photograph looks like it could have come from an Oregon forest.

Thanks so much, yes they can be found all seasons unless buried under snow :)
