I have entitled this orchid capture a Dragon Tongue Orchid because I see a long tapering tongue of a dragon when looking at this macro, but just a bit of artistic license as it is actually a variety referred to as an angel orchid. I have digitally painted the background and given some mauve touches to the shadows of the orchid petals.

There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works.
