Description
This is Casselman River in Pa, which merges with the Yougheheny River and becomes a great rafting and kayaking area where the rivers meet called Confluence. The river is very dry now in October but as you can see when filled will be much wider. The rocks make some great stepping stones for wading and exploring at this time of year. A rail trail overlooks this scenic river bank and is wonderful for hiking and biking. You can find a very nice trail head in Rockwood, Pa. to access the area.
