While sitting on my deck this afternoon a butterfly landed on my forearm and decided to stay. I wondered if she might be hungry and offered her a slice of my pear and she stayed and enjoyed tasting it for at least half an hour, while I admired her and took several photos. Finally she flew up into a dogwood tree and disappeared. It was a magical experience so later when I did this digital painting the idea of adding bubbles seemed perfect for the fantasy of the day.
