The Ross Castle was originally the ancestral home of the Donoghue clan. According to legend, Donoghue was sucked out of the window of the grand chamber at the top of the castle and disappeared into the lake below where he now keeps a close watch on the affairs of the castle. ~ Wikipedia
I captured Ross Castle twelve years ago when traveling in Ireland after attending a wedding. Such a mystical place; I would love to go back someday.
There is no AI art or photography on my site. The beauty of nature inspires my work. I especially enjoy floral photography, still life, and landscapes as well as working with a variety of subjects in my fine art, which includes colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic paintings. Most recently I have added several digital paintings combining hand paintings with digital enhancements or creating original photography inspired digital paintings from my own photography in addition to my exclusively hand painted or drawn works.
