Description
Haiku to a Poinsettia~
From a land of warmth and sunshine,
You grace us with your vibrance,
To warm our cold and gray winter days. ~ Angela Davies
This is a cropped version of a previously posted drawing of a poinsettia, zooming in for a macro and more abstract view. Love this iconic flower for Christmas, which actually comes from the tropics and Mexico, where growing wild it can become a shrub or small tree. The brightly colored petals are actually just leaves that have turned color and the tiny center contains the flowers, so tiny and golden with a red center. This version of my drawing is photographed in natural light and therefore has a more pink appearance than the earlier posted work.

Angela, your Neurographic explorations are simply…INSPIRED! THAT is what I love about this technique…on the psychological notes of it, one’s intuitive expressions are coaxed thru the ambling scrawls…the interstices explode into the ranges of energetic tones…vibrations…frequencies…on a levels of which many of us are unaware ?…and then the gifts!!…the letting go…the x-ray “heArtprint” of beauty, emotional release, healing…and it works not only for the one “creating” but connects at a deeper level with the viewers who relate at “levels of awareness of which many of us are unaware”…until we BEcome aware..:-)) Thank you Angela for lighting the way..:-)
