Description

This is the Round Barn, also called a barrel barn, found in the orchard country of Adams County near historic Gettysburg Battlefield. These barns are quite rare in our country and protected as historic landmarks. This one is still in use, selling local fruits, vegetables, pumpkins, baked goods and honey. It is also used occasionally as a wedding venue. I visualized it on a moonlit snowy night in this digital watercolor.
